Petty Betty & Co. was born out of equal parts survival and joy. Making things started as therapy, a way to laugh when life felt too heavy. Somewhere along the way, I kept looking for small ways to use my voice and advocate for the things that mattered to me. I grew up in the eighties and nineties, which means stickers will forever be my jam.

Over time, my scribbles and sarcastic one liners in the group chat turned into something bigger. A way to connect, to say "me too", and to build community through humor and heart.

The spark came while reading The Artivist by Nikkolas Smith to my son. In his thank you note, he wrote about using creativity to call out what is broken and imagine a fairer world. That line stayed with me. It made me realize humor can do the same thing. It connects us. It heals us. It reminds us we are not alone.

Every design comes from me, a real person with a soft heart and a lot of history tucked inside. I’m layered, imperfect, and believe with my whole heart that when you know better, you do better.

My heart is a patchwork of everyone I’ve ever loved, shaped by the stories I carry. I still order BBQ chicken nachos the way my best friend Krissy did without even thinking. And whenever Wonderwall by Oasis plays, I’m right back in 1995 with Karen, my high school best friend, not the invasive species kind. These small inheritances live in me, and they find their way into this space in ways I hope you can feel.

Petty Betty & Co. is where inside jokes run the show, where humor and heart hold hands, and where laughing at the nonsense is part of the survival plan and its own quiet act of resistance.

My hope is that this place becomes a soft little corner of the internet where you can breathe for a minute. A place that feels safe, warm, and a little magical in the simplest ways. I want you to feel seen here. I want you to feel cared for and celebrated, quirks and all. If something I make gives you a laugh, a little comfort, or that moment of "oh good, it’s not just me", then this place is doing exactly what I hoped it would.
